About The Position

The Accounts Receivable Clerk supports the finance team by managing incoming payments related to premium, concessions, and event services. This role ensures timely billing, accurate payment processing, and strong client relationships in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality preferred)
  • 2–5 years of accounts receivable or accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, sports & entertainment
  • Familiarity with POS systems
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and revenue reconciliation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle high transaction volumes
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with event-based revenue tracking or settlements
  • Knowledge of sponsorship contracts and payment schedules
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays around events
  • Experience in a stadium, arena, venue, or entertainment organization

Responsibilities

  • Generate and distribute invoices for concessions, premium departments (suites/catering), sponsorships, and events
  • Process high-volume payments including credit cards, ACH, client accounts
  • Reconcile daily sales from premium departments and merchandise outlets
  • Monitor and manage outstanding balances, following up with corporate clients, sponsors, and event partners
  • Maintain accurate records of customer accounts, contracts, and payment terms
  • Coordinate with operations teams to resolve billing discrepancies
  • Prepare and review accounts receivable aging reports and escalate overdue accounts
  • Assist with revenue reporting tied to events, game days, and special functions
  • Support month-end and event settlement processes
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
