About The Position

Clyde Companies is an administrative agency located in Orem, Utah that supports several subsidiary organizations that span the construction, building materials and insurance industries. The company is family owned and operated and has been in business for over 90 years. We are looking for an accounting clerk with a strong interest in accounting, the ability to handle multiple tasks and details simultaneously, and who has exceptional customer service skills. We work in a fast-paced team environment and value employees that have a desire to learn, contribute, and take on new responsibilities. No collections are required.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in accounting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrates high moral and ethical standards.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with other team members.
  • Sound computer skills, including strong abilities with Microsoft Excel & Office applications
  • Must have strong data entry skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Ensure timely entry and accuracy of data entry.
  • Assist in reviewing and validating imported and manual data entry.
  • Improve team efficiency by evaluating, recommending, and implementing process and technology related improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
