About The Position
The Accounts Receivable Clerk II position at Virginia Tech involves providing professional customer service to students, families, sponsors, and university departments regarding student and university accounts. This includes handling inquiries related to billing, scholarships, financial aid, outstanding and credit balances, as well as payment and budget tuition plans. The role requires a thorough understanding of the Bursar's Office operations and key student areas such as Financial Aid, Registration, Housing and Dining, Health Center, and Veterans services. The clerk must ensure compliance with federal regulations concerning the privacy and confidentiality of student and customer information.
