Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist
About The Position
Jackson Mechanical Service is a fast-growing Oklahoma-based company in the Commercial HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical service industry. We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist who will be responsible for generating timely and accurate customer invoices with varying degrees of difficulty. You’ll be an integral part of our small Accounting & Finance Team where your contributions make a difference every day. Must demonstrate the ability to work with others and independently in an office setting. Attention to detail is essential in this role, along with effective communication skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Come join our team!
Requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
- Problem solving, critical thinking, and data analysis skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Consistency & reliability
- Excellent customer service with the ability to resolve issues.
- Minimum of one-two years related experience in invoicing/receivables processing.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- BS in Business, Finance or Economics
- Experience with Sage Intacct accounting software or BuildOps operating software
- AIA/Construction billing experience
Responsibilities
- Establish a business relationship with internal and external customers.
- Consistently demonstrate a high level of productivity with high quality outcomes.
- Prepare and send accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner.
- Process credit card payments.
- Ensure compliance with the Company’s financial policies and procedures as they relate to invoicing.
- Other duties as assigned.
