About The Position

Now Hiring: Full-Time Accounts Receivable Assistant (Day Shift) 📍 Bethany Rehabilitation & Health Care Center Are you an experienced Accounts Receivable professional with a background in skilled nursing facility billing ? Join our dedicated team at Bethany Rehabilitation & Health Care Center and help support the financial operations that allow us to provide exceptional care to our residents. Position: Accounts Receivable Assistant Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift Monday – Friday 1 weekend per month Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities: approximately 2 evenings per month

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of accounts receivable experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing processes
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the administrative team
Proficiency with billing software and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain accounts receivable for a skilled nursing facility
Process and track Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and Private Pay billing
Follow up on outstanding claims and unpaid balances
Reconcile resident accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
Communicate with residents, families, and insurance providers regarding billing
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Assist with month-end A/R reporting and collections
Serve as MOD during scheduled evening shifts
