About The Position

As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will primarily engage in collections via email and phone, manage credit memos and payments, and oversee a portfolio of 300-350 customers. Experience in credit analysis is a plus for backup support to the Credit Team, utilizing tools such as D&B.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of business experience with a preference for collections experience.
  • College degree in Finance or Accounting is desired.
  • Excellent verbal and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Affinity for numbers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Oracle and Highradius is a plus.
  • NACM certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Excel formulas, pivots, and vlookups.
  • Familiarity with large ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
  • Professionalism and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all collection efforts for trade receivables, including customer and field operations contact.
  • Resolve receivable matters and disputes as a liaison between the company and customers.
  • Support field offices with customer account-related activities.
  • Recommend payment plans for customers as needed.
  • Respond promptly to statement inquiries and other questions on the Accounts Receivable master phone line.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with other departments and team members.
  • Perform consolidated account summaries, involving data compilation from multiple locations.
  • Participate in special projects such as audit support and month-end tasks.
