About The Position

The Accounts Receivable Analyst position is a full-time role focused on managing credit and collection tasks for a niche manufacturer in Ann Arbor, MI. This hybrid position requires the analyst to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, while being in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The role involves processing accounts receivable transactions, reconciling payment differences, and managing collection efforts across multiple manufacturing facilities.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• 4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, cash, and collections.
• Highly analytical mindset with the ability to reconcile account balances and payment differences.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting systems, specifically SAGE.
• Crystal Reports experience is a plus.
• Experience working in automotive or retailer portals.

Responsibilities

• Process daily accounts receivable transactions.
• Populate and submit EDI batches from large retailers that auto-generate invoices.
• Prepare cash receipts for processing.
• Reconcile payment differences and ensure accurate account balances.
• Process credits and debits as needed.
• Reinvoice and follow up on payments.
• Manage collection efforts by analyzing AR aging and pursuing accounts for payment.
• Work extensively in client portals to submit and review invoices and payments.
• Perform ad hoc requests from the Assistant Controller and Divisional Managers.
