Accounts Receivable Administrator
About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role is critical to maintaining healthy cash flow and strong customer relationships by ensuring timely collections, accurate payment application, and resolution of account discrepancies. Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of accounts receivable or collections experience
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Preferred: McLeod)
- Strong understanding of collections processes, aging reports, and cash application
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism
Nice To Haves
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Preferred: McLeod)
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage aging reports and prioritize collection efforts
- Contact customers to collect outstanding balances in a timely and professional manner
- Post and apply payments accurately, including ACH, check, and credit card transactions
- Process credit card payments and handle refund requests
- Investigate and resolve unapplied cash and account discrepancies
- Manage and resolve customer disputes efficiently and professionally
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records
- Partner with operations, billing, and sales teams to resolve account issues
- Communicate account status, risks, and payment activity to internal stakeholders
- Maintain organized AR documentation and reporting
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency
