About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role is critical to maintaining healthy cash flow and strong customer relationships by ensuring timely collections, accurate payment application, and resolution of account discrepancies. Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of accounts receivable or collections experience
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Preferred: McLeod)
  • Strong understanding of collections processes, aging reports, and cash application
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas required)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Preferred: McLeod)

Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage aging reports and prioritize collection efforts
  • Contact customers to collect outstanding balances in a timely and professional manner
  • Post and apply payments accurately, including ACH, check, and credit card transactions
  • Process credit card payments and handle refund requests
  • Investigate and resolve unapplied cash and account discrepancies
  • Manage and resolve customer disputes efficiently and professionally
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records
  • Partner with operations, billing, and sales teams to resolve account issues
  • Communicate account status, risks, and payment activity to internal stakeholders
  • Maintain organized AR documentation and reporting
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency
