Accounts Payable Student Intern

The Accounts Payable intern is a supporting role for the Accounts Payable staff accountant helping with expenses and payables, including cash disbursements, account reconciliation and general accounting support as needed.
Requirements
- Accounting, finance or business major with a minimum of 1 year of education in that field
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills, including willingness to ask questions
- Detail-oriented
Responsibilities
- Processing mail and routing invoices for approval and payment
- Adding new vendors to Sage Intacct
- Assisting the AP Accountant in the weekly check run
- Vendor account reconciliation as needed
- Review and processing of credit card transactions in Ramp
- Reconciliation of the Ramp account monthly
- Other projects as needed
