About The Position

The Larson Group Peterbilt, is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable
Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position is responsible for auditing
and processing all vendor invoices and related duties to ensure that all terms
and discounts are met. This position will perform additional clerical functions
as instructed.

Requirements

• High school diploma is required.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Candidate should be team-oriented, have strong attention to detail and accuracy, demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new software, and knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel.

Nice To Haves

• A college degree in business is preferred.
• Experience in the accounting field is strongly preferred.
• Previous accounts payable experience is preferred.
• Basic to intermediate excel experience.

Responsibilities

• Post and file accounts payable invoices.
• Research problems in accounts payable for specific vendors.
• Coordinate with Corporate Accounts Payable Manager to set up new vendors
• Coordinate with Corporate Accounts Payable Manager to print checks following proper approval procedures.
• Maintain all Accounts Payable records including filing checks, invoices, and payment term information.
• Reconcile vendor statements and obtain copies of any missing invoices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
