Requirements

• General understanding of basic accounting knowledge coupled with 2+ years prior experience working in AP
• Good computer skills with experience in MS Office, especially Word and Excel
• Data entry experience with high degree of accuracy
• Good investigative and reconciliation skills
• Good customer service and interpersonal skills in dealing with internal and external customers
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines while remaining well organized

Nice To Haves

• JD Edwards experience is a plus
• Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred, not required
• Experience with JD Edwards or another larger consolidation type accounting software

Responsibilities

• Process invoices by performing such tasks as coding, matching, and verifying payment amounts
• Accurate and efficient data input adhering to schedule distributed by Controller in terms of deadlines/timelines
• Answer inquiries from suppliers regarding payment within 24-hour turnaround time in professional and courteous manner
• Complete any required investigation into backup documents, etc.
• Accurately file all processed invoices and matching payment documentation to meet filing standards set by Controller
