About The Position
We are seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting role within our Accounting department that reports directly to our Controller. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for maintaining exact records of accounts payable; reconciling accounts payable with invoices, purchase orders and expense reports; Preparing and /or issuing payments on accounts. Requirements
- Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated
- Must demonstrate a high attention to detail
- Must be able to pro-actively plan to meet deadlines
- Must be able to prioritize to effectively manage a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with Northstar, a plus
Responsibilities
- Handle all Accounts Payable and check processing duties
- Examine all disbursements in terms of PA Sales Tax compliance
- Handle all petty cash transactions and oversee distributed petty cash locations
- Assist the Controller with accounting, financial reporting and analytical functions
- Develop and manage policies and internal control procedures
- Respond to internal and external inquiries
- Assist with annual audits
