About The Position

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing our financial transactions and ensuring smooth vendor relations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and balanced vendor accounts and supporting our accounting team in various payment functions. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will help keep our accounts in order and contribute to the overall efficiency of our dealership operations.

Requirements

Experience with accounts payable preferred, but newcomers with a strong work ethic are welcome.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with accounting software and automotive industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain vendor accounts with precision.
Process payments and assist in various payment functions to ensure timely transactions.
Communicate with vendors to reconcile statements and correct discrepancies.
Research and resolve account discrepancies through detailed audits of the payable ledger.
Collaborate closely with the accounting team on AP-related tasks as required by management.
Assist office staff with diverse accounting and administrative duties.
