About The Position

C+C Apartment Management LLC is recognized as an industry leader in management and real estate operations. Our team manages the day-to-day operations of over 23,000 residential dwelling units across approximately 400 multi-family buildings throughout the New York Tri-state area. The C+C portfolio contains market rate, mixed market rate, affordable and full tax credit/affordable properties. C+C offers a full breadth of management services to improve and enhance a property’s revenue, cost control measures, maintenance, financial reporting, and resident relations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
  • 2+ years’ experience in affordable housing needed
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office MS Excel, required
  • Proficiency in Yardi Affordable is required
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Must have excellent communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual is a plus (Spanish)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for a mix of sites that include both full recertifications and recertification waivers.
  • Complete full annual LIHTC recertifications for properties within their portfolio.
  • Complete full annual HOME recertifications for properties with HOME and LIHTC recert waivers within their portfolio
  • Prepare and send reminder notices to the residents at 120, 90, 60, and 30 days
  • Commence holdover for Failure to Recertify by 2nd day of effective month
  • Each completed annual recertification has TIC and all forms are completed in its entirety before filed away in folder
  • All recertifications are entered into Yardi and date completed once complete
  • Prepare for tenant file reviews with investors, syndicators, and monitoring agencies
  • Assist in response to investor, syndicator, and monitoring agency audits
  • Complete monthly, quarterly, and/or annual reporting.
  • Track audits, reporting, and recertifications, etc.
  • Meet with residents as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned/needed.
