About The Position

MV Transportation is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist requires ability to enter data quickly and accurately.  This position will be primarily responsible for entering valid and accurate invoice information into Lawson.  It is part of a fast-paced department and requires the ability to multitask and maintain composure in a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Computer skills including Microsoft Office applications – Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple fast-paced projects.
• Ability to meet deadlines, particularly prior to month end.

Nice To Haves

• General accounting as well as purchasing cycle knowledge helpful.
• Lawson and Image Now experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and key valid invoice information into Ephesoft /Lawson.
• Daily interaction with vendors to quickly resolve issues and provide follow up as needed.
• Work with divisions to ensure compliance with Accounts Payable guidelines.
• Willing to accept other Accounts Payable duties as assigned.
