About The Position

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team supporting a fast-paced data center and managed services environment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and supporting month-end close activities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
  • Experience in high-volume, service-based or technical environments preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and Excel
  • Adequate professional experience and knowledge to perform Job Responsibilities
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work both independently and with others
  • Ability to operate in a fast moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in using excel and Windows-based computer applications.

  • 2+ years prior AP experience

Responsibilities

  • Execute full-cycle AP: invoice batching, coding (expense & PO), approvals, and payment runs
  • Resolve PO exceptions, invoice discrepancies, and vendor inquiries
  • Reconcile vendor statements and support month-end close activities
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Partner with accounting and operations teams to improve processes and cost tracking
  • Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong attention to detail with high-volume data entry accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage competing demands
  • Professional communication with internal teams and external vendors
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process efficiency
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to work independently when needed
  • Provides quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values.
