In the role of Accounts Payable Specialist II working onsite in Sussex, Wisconsin you will support the accounting department with accounts payable functions. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 1 year experience in accounts payable

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a manufacturing setting
• Experience using Field Servio or equivalent ERP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Understanding of basic accounting principles
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations quickly and accurately

Responsibilities

• Process AP vouchers, vendor credits, and debit memos.
• Review invoices for accuracy, documentation, and required approvals.
• Perform three-way matching for production/direct POs and verify indirect PO invoices.
• Prioritize invoice processing based on payment terms and cash discounts.
• Respond to vendor, buyer, and internal inquiries in a timely manner.
• Review AP statements and assist with A/R offsets, cash application, and AR inbox support.
• Support system enhancements and process improvements within the AP function.
• Provide backup support for departmental duties and assist with additional accounting activities as needed.
