About The Position

The Accounts Payable Rep will work closely with the Accounts Payable Team, resolving discrepancies with vendors and performing other related Accounts Payable duties as required. This role will continue to build strong business relationships with the Sourcing, Procurement and IT Departments as well as other areas within the organization, providing support on current Purchasing Systems and continuing to do so with the implementation and roll out of new systems globally. will be interacting with employers and vendors daily, so it is imperative they are always able to interact in a professional manner.

Requirements

• Three to five years related work experience or associate or bachelor’s degree
• Knowledge of accounting principles and Accounts Payable processes
• Familiarity with purchase order processes
• Strong data entry skills for expense reports
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Excellent communication skills at multiple levels within the organization
• Proficient with Concur Travel and Expense and Guided Buying
• Proficient PC skills, including MS Office Suite and advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Microsoft D65

Responsibilities

• Submit and reconcile vendor invoices in Ariba
• Work with and provide support for Ariba purchases
• Work with vendors and other associates ensuring timely payments
• Attention to details and strong data entry skills
• Actively supporting current and new systems
• Assist with 1099 mailing to recipients
• Audit expense reports in Concur and audit P-Card purchases
• Resolve issues with the IT department
• Troubleshooting problems effectively and providing support to associates throughout the organization
• Support an environment that fosters respect for the ideas of others and models compliance with company policies, procedures, and values
• Build good working relationships with peers and other associates
