About The Position

Muscle Foods USA (a division of Eurpac Service, Inc.), a $250 million plus, fast-growing, successful national wholesale distributor of sports nutrition products, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee all aspects of the accounts payable cycle related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions. This role will not only be responsible for managing the department, but must be hands-on and assist in the processing of invoices.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree (Accounting/Finance or Business preferred)
• Minimum of five years experience in Accounts Payable
• Experience in managing a team of accounts payable professionals
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and principles
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, expense reimbursements, and payments are all processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Hire, train, supervise, and provide guidance to accounts payable staff.
• Monitor and analyze the accounts payable process and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and receiving, to ensure timely and accurate processing and payments to vendors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, reconcile vendor statements and resolve any disputes.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure the vendor files are accurate and maintained.
• Assist with external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Special projects and other tasks that may be assigned as needed.
