About The Position
Pet Food Express is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead AP operations within the finance team. The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end AP function, the accurate and efficient processing of invoices, managing vendor accounts, and ensuring timely payments. Reporting to the Controller, this role plays a key role in financial records & reporting, process optimization, system improvements and upholding strong relationships with vendors. Additionally, this will provide leadership and mentorship to a team of 5-7 AP team members, guiding their development and enhancing team performance. This position requires strong organizational skills, leadership skills, analytical mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Please Note: This position is a hybrid role, involving on-site work each week at our corporate headquarters in Concord, CA. Candidates who are fully remote or outside of reasonable commuting distance will not be considered.
