About The Position

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to support payment processing and treasury operations across multiple entities. This role is responsible for preparing weekly payment backup, coordinating funding needs, entering and tracking payments across banking portals, and resolving any discrepancies. Additional responsibilities include preparing 1099s, organizing check deposit documentation, maintaining bank statements, and assisting with ad‑hoc projects.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Are comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
  • Are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Have experience processing accounts payable, including payments via wire
  • Have working knowledge of the 1099 process
  • Exercise sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential or highly sensitive information

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with QuickBooks online
  • Experience with JP Morgan Access, JP Morgan Online, CitiBusiness Online
  • Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot)

Responsibilities

  • Creating backup for weekly payments including getting necessary approvals
  • Coordinating with manager/treasury that bank accounts are funded appropriately to cover payments
  • Preparing redemption emails to send to banking partners as necessary
  • Verbally confirming wire instructions with new vendors
  • Entering payments into various banking portals and creating summarized lists to send to applicable approvers
  • Confirming all payments were made/released each week, and taking the lead on resolving any issues/discrepancies
  • Preparing annual 1099s for manager review
  • Preparing backup for check deposits for manager review
  • Saving down bank statements
  • Other projects as needed
