About The Position

Transwest is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk. This position is an integral part of the day-to-day financial operations of the organization. The AP Clerk utilizes our electronic payables software to process invoices and maintain superior vendor relationships.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Strong organization skills.
• Strong data entry and math skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
• Experience with AP Automation Software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and enter invoices into electronic payables software.
• Process vendor payments.
• Review and reconcile vendor statements.
• Reconcile high volume vendor statements using Excel.
• Research past due invoices and resolve issues.
• Establish and maintain vendor accounts.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Serve as back-up to other Accounts Payable team members.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.
