Requirements

Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to multitask and have the ability to consistently follow best practices when managing accounts
Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner is required
Must be detail oriented and perform with a high degree of accuracy
Must be able to meet deadlines, work under pressure, follow best practices and company policies
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and analytical skills; ability to be proactive and display initiative
Ability to work as a team, and ability to work with all levels of management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
Sense of urgency in resolving issues and improving processes is also a requirement
Associate degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school; or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of UKG or ADP is preferred, any payroll experience is a plus
Working knowledge of Navision ERP or other ERP systems is a plus

Responsibilities

Validates and enters all invoices for payment
Maintain Accounts Payable files
Complete and/or review new vendor set up paperwork for completeness and submit to Corporate A/P
Collaborate with "Corporate A/P to maintain vendors including address changes, EFT payment setup, etc.
Assist with vendor and divisional A/P inquiries
Review vendor statements for outstanding items
Prepare accounts payable reconciliation reports
Prepare analysis of accounts as required
Assists in monthly closings
Assist with inventory when needed
Assist the division with expense reports and reconciliations
Administrative tasks (filing, pick up and take mail to post office, scheduling trash container pickup, etc.)
Special projects as needed
Banking - scan incoming payments, check wires daily and maintain check log
