Our client located in Franklin, TN is looking for a temp to hire AP Clerk to join their team. They are offering a hybrid schedule after training and are a growing organization with a fantastic culture! The ideal candidate will have experience in three-way matching, with 2+ years experience in AP processing. Manufacturing experience is a plus!

  • Classify, authorize, and reconcile expenses, ensuring accurate charges from vendors and resolving discrepancies with purchasing and receiving teams.
  • Process various payments, including invoices, manual payment requests, and EFT transactions, while communicating with vendors about invoice/payment issues.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining internal controls to ensure compliance with US GAAP and regulatory standards.
  • Support month-end closing activities, including vouchers on hold, payables reports, and accruals.
  • Reconcile accounts monthly, resolve outstanding items, and support distribution management with expenditure and variance inquiries.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associates Degree in Business (preferably Accounting).
  • 2+ years in AP processing with experience in three-way matching.
  • Manufacturing experience ideal.
  • Intermediate Excel skills required.
  • Experience in Enterprise 1 from JD Edwards highly preferred.
  • Able to work onsite in Franklin and be open to a temporary to hire role.
  • Hybrid schedule after training.
