About The Position

A rapidly growing mechanical and construction company is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to manage full‑cycle AP in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the broader accounting team.

Requirements

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience, ideally within the construction, HVAC, or mechanical industries.
• Experience with Spectrum or similar accounting/ERP software preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• No degree required.
• Fully on‑site role—consistent and reliable attendance is essential.

• Comfortable working in a high‑volume, deadline‑driven environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workflow efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal skills when communicating with vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Process approximately 1,000 invoices per month, from email capture through posting in Spectrum.
• Support bi‑monthly check runs and assist with month‑end AP tasks.
• Field AP-related calls and provide support with subcontractor administrative duties.
• Maintain well‑organized and accurate AP documentation.
