About The Position

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with legal or financial software is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but relevant experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and send case expense checks accurately and promptly.
  • Negotiate potential reductions with medical providers or lien companies to optimize settlements.
  • Report claims to Medicare, MassHealth, and other relevant entities as required.
  • Follow up on outstanding settlement documents and checks to ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist in efficiently closing files by completing all necessary administrative tasks.
  • Deliver consistent, outstanding customer service by ensuring clients understand the disbursement process and providing timely updates.
  • Coordinate the distribution of settlement funds to clients and all parties involved, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform any additional tasks required to support the AP/AR functions and the success of the team.
