About The Position

Our client is looking for a fully qualified accountant to join their team and co-manage the Accounts Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and motivated professional ready for the next step.
The chosen candidate will manage a portfolio of clients while leading and supporting members of the accounting team. Strong English is essential; Italian is considered an asset.

Requirements

• University of Malta degree (Hons/Masters in Accountancy) or ACCA
• Warrant to practice Accountancy in Malta
• Recognised Maltese VAT qualification / experience
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar firm
• Able to work independently
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
• Confident leading and motivating others
• Good knowledge of GAPSME, IFRS, and Maltese VAT

Nice To Haves

• Italian is considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Co-manage a team of 4–5
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and deadlines
• Review staff work and supervise daily operations
• Provide VAT advice to clients
• Liaise with auditors and internal departments
