As an Accounting Specialist, you’ll join a supportive team that values professionalism, kindness, and continuous improvement. A Day in the Life of an Accounting Specialist No two days look exactly the same—but here’s what you can expect: You’ll start your day reviewing the shared AP inbox, processing vendor invoices, and making sure everything is entered accurately in NetSuite. As the morning progresses, you may prepare ACH or check payment runs in NetSuite, reconcile accounts, or assist departments with accounting-related questions via Teams. Throughout the day, the Accounting Specialist keeps financial records organized, supports month-end close activities, and collaborates with vendors and internal teams—always maintaining precision, professionalism, and confidentiality. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
- 1–5 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams
- NetSuite experience strongly preferred (we use NetSuite daily!)
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- High level of integrity and professionalism
Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently in NetSuite
- Manage weekly ACH/check payment runs
- Respond to vendor inquiries by phone and email
- Maintain and organize the AP shared inbox
- Complete reconciliations and assist with month-end close
- Support internal teams with accounting questions
- Assist with special projects and administrative tasks
- Demonstrate strong ethics, confidentiality, and attention to detail
