About The Position

As an Accounting Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth operation of our accounting processes and support the overall financial health of the organization. You will work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the company's financial performance by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will help identify areas for improvement and drive efficiency in our accounting operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months to 2 years of experience in accounting or controllership roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Process Oriented with Excellent Problem Solving Skills.
  • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance degree
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and process journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
  • Assist in the month-end close process and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
