We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team temporarily to assist with a critical short-term project in our accounting department. We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist with a strong background in automotive parts and purchasing to join our team . This high-priority role requires someone who can quickly address discrepancies in orders received, utilize their knowledge of parts ordering operations, and work with new systems to identify and correct errors.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive parts management and purchasing.
- Strong understanding of parts ordering operations and supply chain processes.
- Experience in an accounting or finance role, particularly with order verification and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in accounting software and experience with new system implementations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- High degree of integrity and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify incoming orders for accuracy and compliance with purchase orders.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in orders received, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams as needed.
- Manage the purchasing process, ensuring timely and accurate orders for automotive and lawn equipment parts.
- Work closely with the inventory and procurement teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Utilize and adapt to new systems and software to discover and correct errors in order processing and accounting records.
- Assist in financial reporting, invoicing, and reconciliation of accounts related to parts ordering.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
