About The Position

Requirements

  • 2 years' experience in Accounting or Accounts Payable.
  • Valid state driver's license with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze incoming invoices, contracts, purchase orders, and reimbursements to determine approval needs and facilitate smooth entry into the financial system.
  • Maintain knowledge of partnered vendors and review vendor statements to ensure accurate payments and resolve discrepancies.
  • Troubleshoot issues with purchase orders and monitor invoice entry to prevent conflicts from incorrect information.
  • Enter invoices into financial software, review credits, and establish new vendor profiles while ensuring data integrity.
  • Research tax problems and respond to sales and tax inquiries related to accounts payable, serving as backup for the Accounting Assistant.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining procedures related to accounts payable and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
