About The Position

The Accounting Senior Director is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial management of the organization, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth. This role requires expertise in accounting principles, financial analysis, and leadership to drive financial excellence and ensure the organization's financial health.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with at least 10 years of experience in Finance or Accounting environment and in the preparation of financial statements.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification

Responsibilities

Oversee accounting operations, including financial reporting.
Ensure accurate and timely financial close processes, and compliance with accounting standards.
Design, implement, and maintain internal financial controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
Prepare and present external financial reports, including audited financial statements, and financial statements filed with regulatory agencies.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and standards.
Provide guidance and oversight to senior management and other stakeholders.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to support business operations.
Supervise and develop a team of finance professionals, including Accounting Managers, Supervisors, Analysts, and administrative staff.
Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain relationships with business partners, inside and outside the organization.
Communicate financial information and insights to non-financial stakeholders, including senior management.
