YOUR ROLE This position will be responsible for supporting the company’s financial consolidation process as part of both its internal and external financial reporting. The position involves assisting with the close mechanics in the financial consolidation system, as well as supporting external reporting and business accounting teams during the close process.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of accounting experience ideally in both public accounting and corporate
  • Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Leadership/Teamwork Skills: Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Capability and desire to take on broader roles in the finance organization.
  • Understand and manage cultural differences inherent in a highly diverse international business naturally building relationships across the enterprise through collaboration, consensus building and interpersonal effectiveness.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA license or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) system

Responsibilities

  • Support the monthly and quarterly global financial consolidation process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Preparation of monthly journal entries to complete the consolidation process.
  • Preparation of financial statement and related support for both internal and external financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Support and collaborate with business accounting teams and individual trial balances as part of the consolidation process.
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis based on management requests.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance consolidation processes through automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support internal and external audit reviews and procedures.
  • Assist with SOX compliance documentation and testing.
  • Plan, develop and execute special projects as appropriate.
