This role requires extensive experience in accounting processes, coupled with a deep understanding of ERP systems and their integration into corporate finance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with experience in ERP system implementations and financial management.
Strong grasp of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in ERP software such as JD Edwards, SAP, or Oracle along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
Proven track record of successful ERP implementations and optimizations in large-scale organizations.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

Nice To Haves

Relevant certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ERP-specific credentials are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor financial transactions, resolve discrepancies, and reconcile accounts.
Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures in accordance with ERP best practices and regulatory standards.
Enhance accounting procedures and workflows to boost efficiency and accuracy.
Evaluate and implement automation where feasible
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls, updating policies as necessary to mitigate risks.
Lead the implementation of ERP systems (JD Edwards), customizing modules to align with the organization's financial requirements.
Collaborate with IT and finance teams to configure ERP functionalities and workflows to optimize financial processes.
Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate ERP systems with other business processes, including procurement, supply chain, and human resources.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between departments to ensure seamless data flow and process alignment.
Communicate with senior management and key stakeholders to provide updates on ERP initiatives, project milestones, and financial system performance.
Present findings, recommendations, and strategic insights derived from ERP data analysis to support decision-making processes.
