About The Position

As the Accounting Manager, you will be leading a team of accountants to produce monthly financial and management reporting in support of the business. You will have full ownership of the deliverables and development of your team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
• CPA designation is preferred
• At least ten years of experience in technical accounting and financial report
• Management experience for a high performing team, including: Creating job specifications, selection or candidates, on-boarding, and integration of new hires as well as training, coaching, and mentoring. Working with the team for objective setting, evaluating performance, dispute resolution, and supporting development
• Creating job specifications, selection or candidates, on-boarding, and integration of new hires
• Advanced Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and meet strict time sensitive deadlines
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly, bi-annual, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS as needed for tax, management, and external reporting purposes.
• Monitor and communicate with internal stakeholders monthly financial results including the analysis of the balance sheet, income statement and supplemental reporting to global operations in London, England and Paris, France.
• Manage projects that strengthen the internal controls of the company with an emphasis on system process improvements.
• Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and any other accounting functions required to prepare the consolidated financial statements.
• Work with department heads and the Financial Planning and Analysis department to construct the annual budget and quarterly forecasts
• Conduct accounting research and prepare memorandums to support accounting positions
• Create and review documentation that meets IFRS requirements
• Assist tax department with preparation of financial analysis and reporting for tax calculations and payments
