About The Position

The Accounting Manager will oversee the day to day accounting operations for our manufacturing business. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, leading month end and year end close processes, and supporting cost accounting activities unique to high precision, high volume semiconductor production. The ideal candidate has strong manufacturing accounting experience, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, technology driven environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
  • Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, payroll accounting, and fixed assets.
  • Manage month end and year end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and adjusting entries.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, corporate policies, and industry specific requirements.
  • Maintain accurate financial records for audits and coordinate with external and internal auditors.
  • Oversee cost accounting functions, including variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
  • Review and analyze manufacturing KPIs (yield, scrap, cycle time, overhead absorption, etc.).
  • Validate and monitor BOM accuracy, labor routing, and production cost flows.
  • Partner with operations to provide insights on cost drivers, production efficiencies, and product margin analysis.
  • Implement and review process improvements to strengthen financial controls and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure proper documentation of procedures and compliance with regulatory and audit standards.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and FP&A teams.
  • Support ERP enhancements, system integrations, and process digitization efforts.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
