About The Position
Kforce's client, a very successful, well-established fashion importer, is seeking an Accounting Manager in New York, NY. Summary: Working closely with the CFO and Controller, the Accounting Manager will be involved with virtually all aspects of the accounting department. This highly visible role offers a wide variety of experience along with a great chance to become a critical member of the leadership team. Degree in Accounting, CPA or CMA are pluses
Requirements
- 10+ years of related corporate accounting experience, preferably in the fashion, apparel or similar import industry
- Solid written and verbal communication skills and superior Excel experience are essential
- Experience with Accounts Payable, Receivables, Factoring, Inventory, Royalties and more
- Recent ERP conversion experience preferred
Nice To Haves
- Degree in Accounting, CPA or CMA are pluses
- Exposure to auditors, tax issues, management reporting are all pluses
