Accounting Manager
About The Position
USA Cyber is a growing St. Louis-based Technology Service Provider delivering IT S olutions , Cybersecurity, Compliance, and AI solutions to small and mid-sized businesses. We pride ourselves on operational excellence, client satisfaction, and scalable growth. We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and support strategic decision-making. The Accounting Manager will lead day-to-day accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the company's growth through strong financial controls and insights. This role requires hands-on accounting expertise , experience in service-based or MSP environments, and the ability to operate both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting , Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (including leadership or supervisory experience)
- Experience in a Technology Service Provider (MSP), IT services, or SaaS environment strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with recurring revenue models and contract accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel (advanced skills preferred)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Nice To Haves
- Experience with PSA tools (e.g., ConnectWise, Autotask) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations including A/P, A/R, payroll, and general ledger
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
- Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Monitor cash flow and provide strategic recommendations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners
- Analyze service revenue streams (recurring revenue, contracts)
- Partner with leadership on financial strategy and business decisions
- Implement and optimize accounting systems and processes (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, PSA tools common in MSPs)
