We’re looking for an Accounting Manager who loves solving problems, improving processes, and turning complexity into clarity. If you thrive in environments with room to create, this is your playground. As the owner of our month-end close, you’ll guide our GL, deliver sharp reconciliations, analyze financial results, and produce a polished monthly package. You’ll evaluate revenue recognition, own tax and regulatory compliance across the globe, and partner closely with FP&A to drive insights and accuracy. This role is perfect for someone with strong operational experience, a grounding in public accounting, and the curiosity to tackle new challenges without a playbook. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 7+ years accounting experience, including industry + public accounting (both are important).
- 2+ years in public accounting; Big Four experience is a huge plus.
- Active CPA strongly preferred—your technical depth will shine here.
- Hands-on operational accounting experience and confidence navigating ambiguity.
- Familiarity with modern accounting systems (NetSuite a big bonus).
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax rules, and reporting standards.
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent communication and a drive for continuous improvement.
- Comfortable building processes where none exist—and improving the ones that do.
Responsibilities
- Oversee core accounting operations: month-end close, reconciliations, journals, GAAP compliance.
- Review sales orders to ensure accurate revenue recognition and taxability.
- Deliver trial balance analysis and monthly reporting that leadership relies on.
- Manage global tax compliance: VAT, withholding, regulatory filings, and statutory audits.
- Guide teammates through technical accounting questions and review their work.
- Partner with FP&A on timely and accurate financial reports and variance analysis.
- Drive process improvements that make our operations scalable and efficient—especially valuable for candidates coming from Big Four environments.
- Jump in on ad hoc financial analysis and cross-functional projects.
