About The Position

This role provides a key opportunity to contribute to the accurate recognition and reporting of revenue in a dynamic, fast-growing SaaS environment. The Accountant, Revenue Accounting will work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with US GAAP and ASC 606, supporting both transactional and strategic revenue processes. Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience specifically in revenue accounting.
  • Understanding of accounting principles, with familiarity with US GAAP and ASC 606 preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications; experience with ERP/CRM systems is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in process improvement and automation initiatives is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing revenue transactions and preparing revenue reports in accordance with US GAAP and ASC 606.
  • Review and validate sales contracts and agreements for revenue recognition requirements.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close activities, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Maintain accurate deferred revenue records according to contract terms.
  • Work with ERP and CRM systems to record and report revenue data.
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits and compliance requests.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives and projects to improve revenue processes and reporting accuracy.
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks as required to support the finance team.
