The Accounting Manager for Ace Technologies is responsible for leading the financial operations, reporting, and administrative coordination of the business unit. This role serves as a key financial leader, providing oversight of accounting processes, cost analysis, and business performance while supporting operational, HR, and administrative functions. This position partners closely with leadership to translate financial data into actionable insights, ensures accuracy of financial reporting, and supports cross-functional initiatives including HR coordination, workforce development tracking, and internal communications. The Accounting Manager reports to the Vice President and works closely with Ace Electric corporate departments including Finance and Human Resources.

Requirements

  • References, Background Check, Drug Screen Testing, Valid Driver’s License.
  • Valid state driver's license as required by job conditions or by the company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 5–10 years of accounting, financial management, or business operations experience.
  • Experience with construction, service-based, or project-based accounting preferred.
  • Comprehend and practice safe work procedures as outlined in Company Safety Handbook.
  • Read and interpret financial data, reports, and written communications.
  • Maintain attention to detail and accuracy under time constraints.
  • Repetitive use of hands, arms, and computer equipment.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of monthly billing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Oversee collections process and monitor outstanding receivables
  • Maintain ownership of weekly time review, adjustments, and submission for payroll processing
  • Provide full oversight and accountability for the division’s Profit & Loss (P&L)
  • Analyze cost centers and provide insights, recommendations, and solutions to leadership
  • The Manager is responsible for actively promoting and maintaining high employee morale to foster a positive, productive, and engaged work environment.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to leadership and, when appropriate, the broader organization
  • Assist leadership in interpreting and applying key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Oversee and administer sales commission programs
  • Ensure proper documentation, tracking, and reconciliation of credit card receipts
  • Maintain real-time accountability of employee and equipment resources to ensure the company neither experiences work shortages nor takes on more work than it can effectively manage.
  • Coordinate required customer documentation to initiate jobs and support project startup
  • Support leadership in aligning financial data with operational performance
  • Serve as a key liaison between Ace Technologies and corporate Finance and HR teams
  • Assist employees with HR-related inquiries, directing to appropriate resources and ensuring follow-through
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding activities in partnership with Ace Electric HR
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and hiring logistics
  • Support apprenticeship program tracking, including hours and documentation
  • Maintain training records, certifications, and re-certifications within BambooHR
  • Serve as the primary administrator for BambooHR for Ace Technologies
  • Maintain and update the Ace Technologies website
  • Manage LinkedIn presence and company profile updates
  • Develop and maintain social media presence and content strategy
  • Coordinate and distribute internal monthly newsletter
