About The Position

Are you an experienced accounting professional ready to take the next step in your career? Join a fast-growing, multi-franchise automotive dealership group as an Accounting Manager! In this leadership role, you'll oversee daily accounting operations, drive process improvement, and deliver financial insights that shape strategic decisions across our dealerships. You'll work directly with senior leadership-including the CFO-while leading a team that values collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA or CPA-track preferred)
6-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in leadership
Experience in multi-entity or multi-location accounting
Automotive retail/dealership experience strongly preferred
Hands-on with DMS systems like Tekion, CDK, or Reynolds & Reynolds
Solid understanding of GAAP, reconciliations, and month-end close
Proven leadership and coaching abilities
Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills

Responsibilities

Lead daily accounting operations within a centralized shared-services environment
Ensure accuracy and compliance across all financial reporting and internal controls
Prepare and analyze profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
Support monthly and annual financial close and assist with corporate consolidations
Provide detailed variance and trend analysis to guide business decisions
Partner with external auditors and internal stakeholders
Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a positive and high-performing team
Collaborate with the CFO on financial strategy and key projects
