About The Position

Weaver Fundraising has been the industry leader in product fundraising technology and service for over 45 years. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in contributing to increased operational efficiencies and underlying accounting team data management. In this role, you will strive to meet target deadlines important to the company's goals, collaborate with the entire finance department, and work to improve our financial output and outcomes. You will oversee two direct reports in your department, communicate effectively with our internal leaders, and have a bias towards action-oriented leadership. Come grow with us! Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 4+ years of related work experience
  • Proven team leadership with ability to delegate and communicate effectively
  • Handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Desire to make the accounting processes more efficient and effective
  • Team player mindset, willing to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Ability to use analytical thinking skills to solve problems
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in public accounting is a plus
  • Experience in a small-mid size scaling company, tech industry background is a plus
  • Experience with Sage Intacct software is a plus
  • Domo Reporting experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Streamline processes and create documentation, drive improvements
  • Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow projections
  • Track budget to actual figures for SG&A accounts and discuss adjustments with department heads
  • Assist with preparing month-end, quarter end and year end financials
  • Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy, integrity, and proper support
  • Gain a thorough understanding of our technology and how it impacts finance including owning capitalization of software
  • Oversee and manage all Scouting council incentives
  • Oversee and manage Trails End Rewards program including costing and promotions
  • Prepare and analyze customer payout schedules
  • Direct oversight and management of all payables processes
  • Oversight of monthly and annual sales tax filings
  • Provide support to external auditors and tax consultants for year-end audit and annual Federal and State tax filings
  • Oversight and management of 2 direct reports
