About The Position

Schneider is seeking an Accounting Manager in Green Bay to lead accounting tasks and direct the work of associates. The Accounting Manager will participate in month-end close, review monthly internal financial statements and conduct special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA required.
• 4-6 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of enterprise financial systems, such as Oracle.
• Excellent technical and analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred.
• Public accounting and/or internal audit experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Lead subledger accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll.
• Oversee intercompany transactions and balances, foreign ledgers and foreign currency.
• Take part in audit engagements with an external audit firm.
• Manage and distribute work amongst team members.
• Mentor associates in career development and problem resolution.
• Provide training to team members on department policies, procedures and processes.
