Requirements

  • Hands-On Accounting Operations Expertise: Deep experience owning day-to-day accounting functions, managing AP/AR, and ensuring clean balance sheets without legacy issues, especially important given the current outsourced setup and upcoming system migration.
  • Adaptability in High-Growth Environment: Thrives in fast-paced, evolving settings, balancing process maturity with flexibility to scale and support multiple business units amid plans to nearly double revenue within 12-18 months.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the transition of accounting functions from outsourced to in-house: Build and manage an internal accounting team, including hiring and overseeing AP, AR, and payroll roles.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations: Ensure accurate and timely month-end close, maintain general ledger integrity, and oversee balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Implement and optimize accounting systems and processes: Assist in the migration from legacy systems to integrated platforms, improving reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with operations and leadership: Partner closely with the General Manager to align financial reporting with business goals and support growth initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance and support audits: Manage relationships with external auditors and ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.
