About The Position

HHM Talent is assisting a client search for an Accounting Manager in Ringgold, GA. The Financial Controller will lead all financial operations, including reporting, cash flow management, and performance analysis. This is a hands-on role that combines technical accounting with business insight, supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term growth. This individual will also help transition finance fully in-house and partner closely with leadership to improve profitability and efficiency.

Requirements

CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent certification
Experience in a service-based, project-driven, or technical environment preferred
Strong financial analysis and business partnering skills
Ability to operate in a growing, fast-paced environment
Hands-on, detail-oriented, and process improvement mindset

Responsibilities

Oversee monthly financial reporting and ensure accuracy of management accounts
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Analyze margins, costs, and profitability across projects and operations
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and billing processes
Strengthen internal controls and support audit and tax compliance
Improve financial systems, reporting, and processes
Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insight and decision support
Mentor and develop the current bookkeeper
