About The Position

The Accounting Manager serves as a key financial business partner, combining strong accounting expertise with business acumen to support strategic decision-making and drive business results. This role is responsible for leading financial analysis, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting the financial close process, and maintaining strong risk management and compliance practices. The Accounting Manager demonstrates ownership of financial integrity, partners cross-functionally to solve complex business problems, and contributes to the strategic direction of the accounting function through process improvement, performance measurement, and financial insight.

  • Excel-based financial reporting tools such as Velixo, Hyperion, or Khalix (preferred)
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university required
  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial roles with increasing responsibility

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
  • CPA and/or CMA designation strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted financial partner by performing financial analysis, communicating insights, and supporting or leading problem-solving initiatives to improve business performance
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting, including financial statements, balance sheets, and management reports
  • Lead month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Oversee and enhance cost accounting processes, including standard cost, gross margin analysis, pricing support, and margin analysis
  • Manage cash flow analysis and reporting
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure best-in-class financial controls and processes
  • Support risk management, internal controls, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with external partners including auditors, tax advisors, insurance providers, and banking partners
  • Support FP&A activities including financial modeling, forecasting, KPI development, and reporting
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for both financial and non-financial stakeholders
  • Leverage data analytics tools to build dashboards and performance reporting, with an emphasis on KPIs
  • Influence policy development and business decisions through data-driven analysis
