About The Position

Solar Refrigeration & Appliance Repair is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead our day-to-day accounting operations. This role is critical in supporting a fast-paced service business, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and overseeing transactional processes tied to service work, parts, and customer billing. The ideal candidate will bring leadership experience, a hands-on approach, and the ability to streamline accounting processes in an operational environment.

Requirements

3–5+ years of accounting experience
Strong understanding of financial reporting
Experience with accounting systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
Excellent communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

Supervise and support accounting staff, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and billing functions
Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and journal entries
Manage and execute month-end and year-end close processes
Ensure accurate invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition tied to service tickets and contracts
Maintain and enforce internal controls to protect company assets and ensure compliance
Collaborate with operations and service teams to ensure accurate job costing and financial tracking
Prepare reports for leadership to support business decision-making
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
