Learn more at www.biolabs.io . ROLE OVERVIEW BioLabs is seeking to hire an Accounting Manage r at BioLabs. Reporting to Sr. Director of Finance, this role manages and executes core accounting functions across assigned sites, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting. The Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial operations, supporting month-end close processes, and maintaining strong internal controls and compliance standards. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to support budgeting, reporting, and overall financial performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, including GP/AP/AR responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of reconciliation, monthly close, and reporting cycles
  • Proficiency in excel, NetSuite, or similar accounting software
  • Experience in multi-entity or multi-location environments
  • Familiarity with audit preparation, vendor management, and expense control
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to attend events outside standard business hours
  • travel nationally or internationally as needed

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage general accounting and month-end functions, including accounts payable, invoicing/accounts receivable, and general ledger for assigned sites
  • Utilize independent judgment to resolve accounting and financial matters on management’s behalf
  • Prepare, review, and analyze consolidated financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly KPI tracking, reporting, and analytics
  • Support quarterly and year-end financial audits, including corporate financial controls audits
  • Collaborate with site directors to create and manage annual budgets; regularly review financial performance and recommend solutions as needed
  • Assist with vendor payment reviews, AMEX reconciliation, and vendor credit applications
  • Oversee the company’s expense report system
  • Monitor and record company credit card transactions and ensure all receipts are obtained
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure accounting inquiries and requests are handled promptly
  • Attend occasional off-hour events and travel as
