About The Position

As an Accounting Manager, you will lead our financial team, ensuring that our books are balanced, our financial strategies are sound, and our standards of accuracy are upheld. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the financial health of our hotel, driving both performance and accountability. WHAT YOU'LL DO As the Accounting Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our financial operations. In this role, you will: Oversee the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities. Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts to guide strategic decision-making. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and company policies. Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage budgets, track financial performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings. Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel. WHAT YOU BRING We’re seeking a proactive leader with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for financial integrity. To excel in this role, you’ll need: At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, with advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Requirements
